Beautiful green
spaces in Bandra
Greener
spaces are an integral part of urban life that defines the layout of the
community. As we have started living in increasingly built up environments, the
need for parks is as important in the 21st century as it was in the 19th.
They are the
community’s natural life support systems and a well maintained park in an area
can increase the real estate value manifold.
If you are looking
for safe play spaces for your kids and to escape from the clamour of the city
but don’t have to travel far, the green spaces are for you.
Here are five of
our favourite places to sit back and relax: the green gems tucked away in the
corners of Bandra.

What’s
it like?
Find a shady spot
to rest your feet, enjoy the walking trails, watching kids on swings as you
ensure the conservation of the natural and cultural environment and landscape
qualities of the park.
Spread a sheet on
the grassy knoll or go on a stroll with your babies in this small but
delightful green space. Get bowled over by the peacefulness that this park
offers. It is open to public and guarantees a pleasant and easy experience.
Transport: Easily accessible by bus, car
or foot.
Did
you know?
This is the city’s
first eco-friendly garden. The solar panels light the 30 lamp posts in the park
which therefore do not depend on any electricity provider. A water-recycling
unit provides 7000 litres of water per day to the garden and they generate
green waste from the garden compost pit.
